I am currently writing this on my laptop, which is connected to the Sprint network with my Pre running as a wireless modem.

Really wireless, because the laptop is connected via wifi to the Pre.

Yeah, its nerdy, but I love it. Wifi wherever I go.

Callout today to the product over on Woot.com Have been using this little guy for a while now, and I am a big fan. It is pretty durable so far, has a good rechargeable battery, and a good screen so you can see what you are playing *cough* *cough* *apple sucks* *cough* *cough*... and it has all the normal good features such as an equalizer and ability to set songs in folders. Doomsday Bunkers for What? "Preppers" Are Idiots

Recently I wrote about the 10 best doomsday survival shelters in the world . These make sense - they are for continuity of government, they are so mankind will survive, they are all about long-term planning or strategic defense. But, I just came across a brand new show on Discovery - "Doomsday Bunkers" - and it's stupid. Interesting, but stupid. It turns out that there is a whole community of people out there who believe Y2K is still coming think Fallout 3, the Book of Eli, or Mad Max is just around the corner. And so they are "prepping" - getting ready for the zombie apocalypse.
