Chevy Volt Update - EPA BS
This was actually put out this morning in a press release by the EPA:
EPA does applaud GM's commitment to designing and building the car of the future - an American-made car that will save families money, significantly reduce our dependence on foreign oil and create good-paying American jobs. We're proud to see American companies and American workers leading the world in the clean energy innovations that will shape the 21st century economy.
Engineered by the administration much? The press release was mostly about how GM could not claim 230mpg, because the Volt had not yet been tested. Yet look at the verbiage above. Is any more evidence needed that the government owning a car company that it regulates is a terrible idea?
Also, how do liberals get so up in arms over "agency capture" but when it is "direct in-your-face abuse of power" like we see with the EPA/GM/US Govt, they dont get upset at all?
