PC World is written by dumb dumbs

I used to like PC World, back when I was checking out the latest GeForce2 card, 256mb of RAM gaming machine with a screaming 800mhz pentium 3. Those were the days...

Sadly, PC World is now written seemingly by undergrads with a major in dumbass and a minor in Apple fanboy.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/200298/iphone_4_battery_life_the_test_results_are_in.html

They tested the new iPhone 4 against the old 3GS and found the 4 had better battery life. Ok... but how did they do the test?

"To get an idea of how the iPhone 4's battery life compares to its predecessor in varied use, I borrowed a colleague's year old 32GB iPhone 3GS and tested it and the iPhone 4 using a series of different tasks. The results show that the iPhone 4 does indeed last an appreciably longer time."

WOW

I mean

WOW

Really? A phone that has been used for a year solidly by some tech junkie type has less battery life than a new phone? Ohmygodholdthephonethisisthemostamazingthingapplehaseverdoneincredible

The world is a little inverted these days. Engadget, a blog, provides the best news and reviews, while CNET and PC World - especially PC World - put out junk like this and call it testing. Idiotic.
