Chrysler Creditors

After being consistently scolded by the Obama administration for not giving up their debt and accepting a VEBA/Fiat/US Govt owned Chrysler, senior debt-holders are supposedly being investigated by local police and the FBI.

This is mostly rumor at this point, but the rumor seems largely confirmed.

A scary place we are living in today. What right does anyone have to stand up to the "needs of the people?"

An interesting question Frankie asked me at one point is "where is Galts Gulch?" For those who dont know Atlas Shrugged this wont mean much, but for those who do, it is an interesting question without a good answer, thoughts?

There are a lot of shitty drivers out there. Actually, most people are shitty drivers. They don't really know anything about cars, about driving, about limits of adhesion, how to react when things go badly, or what snow does to your ability to drive. Turns out most people don't think looking green is worth the sacrifice of owning a shitty, expensive car. Only 1/3rd of hybrid owners buy another one. Please, no more, I can't take it anymore Good news for the electric revolution? Not really. As I have been saying for years - the Prius has absolutely no logical economic value. There are other cars which are cheaper, better, and with similar fuel economy, or at least with good enough fuel economy that the price premium for the prius makes no damn sense. And the numbers show that: hybrid loyalty has fluctuated very little over the last 6 years, while gas prices have moved all over the place. In other words - buying a hybrid has nothing to do with logic. Shocking.
