No Turbos in WRC
One of the reasons (I just found out) that Subaru left the WRC (World Rally Championship) that made them famous is because the WRC has decided to ban turbos for the next couple years.
How incredibly dumb is that. At a time when manufacturers are increasingly looking to turbos and superchargers to get more out of small engines--BMW, Ford, VW, and others all have combo supercharged/turbocharged engines in the works or in production--the WRC is looking to pull out. Dumb dumb dumb. The only reason they did it is because they are looking to pull in teams from a rival league. If the IRL/CART fiasco taught the world anything, it should have been that fueding leagues get you nowhere.
