UK Soldier Leaves $160,000 for Vegas Party

A British marine recently killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan had taken out a $400,000 life insurance policy. Of that, he set aside $80,000 for a veteran's charity and $160,000 for.... a Vegas blowout party for all of his friends to celebrate his life. 

He honestly sounds like one hell of a guy. The guts and balls to take out that policy and go in to a war zone at only 23 years old... as a combat medic. He said he regretted nothing in life and was glad to serve. He was described by a superior officer as a "perfect marine." To me, that life insurance policy and will is a glorious fuck you to the Taliban.

There are a lot of shitty drivers out there. Actually, most people are shitty drivers. They don't really know anything about cars, about driving, about limits of adhesion, how to react when things go badly, or what snow does to your ability to drive. In fact, most people think that driving slowly, regardless of what lane you are in, whether you are merging onto a highway or holding up 50 cars behind you, means "being a good driver." Just because you have spent many years driving in the left lane at 65mph does not make you a good driver, in fact, just the opposite.
