Union/UAW "Job Banks"

Here is a particularly egregious example of of how unions/the UAW are a drain on the economy. They require that certain laid off and fired workers are not laid off or fired, but are kept in a "job bank" for "easy access to talent." They are paid as full time workers. A few years ago there were 15,000 such freeloaders. Today there are still 3,000, even as the parent companies slowly dies.
